The final destination of my #WonderfulIndonesia trip was Bandung, which is renowned for its shopping. Bandung has a cool temperature all year round, making it a popular stop for those visiting the national capital and an essential stay-over for travelers en route through Java.

# Factory Outlets
Factory outlets in Bandung are the most popular visited by travelers who go there for their shopping frenzy. There are four main areas in  Bandung for factory outlets which are Jalan Setiabudi, Jalan Riau, Dago District and Cihampelas Area. You will definitely find good bargain at one of these outlets, but be prepared for incredibly long lines just to try on the clothes.

#2 Armor Kopi
Located beside the lake and the forest of Taman Hutan Raya Juanda in Bandung, Armor Kopi is one of the tourist attraction which you can sip coffee in the middle of jungle. Armor Kopi stands for Arabika Multi Origin Kopi, which they only use locally made beans. The beans are brewed manually here. Therefore, the coffee has more fruity bitterly taste. What's better than having a cup of coffee while enjoying this greenery ambiance.

#3 Dusun Bambu
Dusun Bambu is an ideal place to spend over the weekends as you can find everything from villa accommodations to adventurous activities like biking and camping. Burangrang is the biggest cafe at Dusun Bambu. There are 3 amazing restaurants, each with a unique theme. We went to Burangrang restaurant that is located among the taller hills at the resort, which give tourists a panoramic view of the Burangrang mountain.

Thank you again Indonesia Tourism for having me during this trip. Looking forward to explore more beautiful places in the world.

My third destination of #WonderfulIndonesia is Banyuwangi. We took a boat ride from Lombok to Bali, made 2 flights transfer and finally arrived at Ketapang Indah. Here are the two main places where I have covered.

#1 Ijen Crater (Kawah Ijen)

Igen plateau or known as “Kawah Ijen” is highly recommended to mountain buffs and hikers. It contains the world’s largest acidic volcanic crater lake which is famous for its turquosise colour. The volcano is beauiful but hiking in with the stars, getting up close to the blue flames and viewing the truly stunning sunsirse were what made this hike so memorable. We left the hotel at 1AM and it was about an hour drive to the entrance. We took about 2 hours to reach the top. I have to say the journey is not easy as it is advised to wear a filter mask as the suplur smell is quite strong along the way. Bring a headlight with you as you will be hiking in the dark and wear proper sport shoes as it can be steep and slippery. It is also recommended to wear a jacket because it was cold (about 52F) in the midnight but you will be warm while hiking and after the sun comes up. So I suggest a T-shirt and hoodie/wind breaker will be good enough.
To be honest, I didn't manage to see the blue flames as I was really exhausted after the 2-hour hike. I didn't manage to walk down to see the blue fire. However, you may refer to the image below to judge whether it is worth the sweats. But the crater and sunrise is truly beautiful.

The filtered mask, which BoBo brought for us. Good to have friend who works in safety equipment industry.

We climbed at Kawah Ijen during the night and stayed only a few hours in bed. It was really a nice hotel, which I would enjoy to stay a couple of days. Unfortunate we had to leave to our next destination, Bandung.

Stay tune for Bandung write-up x

Greetings from The Great London!!! Meanwhile I'm living my dream, here is the second destination of my #WonderfulIndonesia trip. I visited Lombok where it is surround with unspoiled beautiful islands with various cultural.

#1 Sasak Sade Village
This time with Ministry of Indonesia Tourism along with other SEA blogers, we have the chance to experience the traditional lifestyle of one of the tribe in Indonesia in Sade Village located in Central Lombok. The village is inhibited by only about 400 hundred people. Many believe that all the people living in Sade Village are related by blood to each other since marying inside the family is one of the old traditions that are still preserved by the Sasak Tribe. One unique tradition of Sasak Tribe is their traditional house that is built in rows that is made of wood and bamboo for its walls and thatched roofs.

#2 Gili Islands
The Gili Islands are an archipalego of three small islands – Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. If you are looking for a remote island experience, you will love Gili. Diving in around the Gilis is popular due the the abudance of marine life and atttractive coral formations. But if you are do not have diving licence, perhaps snorkeling can be your alternative option.

Automobiles and motorised traffic is prohibited on the islands by local ordianance, so the preferred method of transportation is by foot and bicycle or the horse-drawn carriage called a cidomo.  It is also the reason why I love Gili where you can enjoy and embrace a slower paced life. I also revisted The Swing at Ombak Sunset Hotel. The breathtaking sunset moment is defiintely an Instagram-worthy which you would not want to miss when you are at Gili.

Up next, Banyuwangi x
