Birthday dinner @ Ril's Restaurant & Bar.

Birthday celebration posts never end, heh. I've a birthday dinner with huannie boo the other day at Ril's Restaurant & Bar @ Bangsar. The restaurant captures a classic fine-dining atmosphere, which I did not expect to find in Telawi. But we came for the title of 'Best for Meat' in the Time Out KL Food Awards 2012, which is famed of their succulent steaks.

I bet only my boyfriend will wear such big hat to girlfriend's birthday dinner. His excuse was he needs it to match the whole outfit. Good thing or bad thing?

We ordered two starters:
Green goddess.
Tuna Tataki. I'm not a tuna fan, but this seared tuna slices' taste is too amazing! Please order this if you visit Ril's. 

Here are our main course along with a side dish.
Huannie's crispy pan-seared chicken casserole.
 My wagyu rib-eye. 300g of this wild juicy steak is definitely worth of the price of RM168. I would suggest a sharing for this because I couldn't finish the whole dish, probably RM50 of steak was wasted :/
 The combination of wagyu and mustard sauce tastes so heavenly.
Steamed french beans is well cooked as well. 


We ended our dinner with a birthday dessert, chocolate fondant. It was good with the Last Polka salted gula melaka ice cream, om nom nom~
