Tokyo's Eats and Drinks

It's my second time vising Japan, and this time was during summer season with my sponsor Panasonic Beauty Malaysia. I will share about the learning on my next post, but let's read on the food and drinks I explored this round.
The first stop we went was the famous Sensō-ji temple and Nakamesi @ Asakusa where visitors can pray and enjoy a variety of traditional local snacks at the same time shop for some souvenirs. I would recommend you to get the macha ice-cream and green tea which is super refreshing during summer.

Did I mention it was summer but I have no idea why Tokyo weather wasn't been good during our stay. It was pouring all day long, but I am lucky to have friends who love exploring as well.

While walking around Omotosando area, we stumbled upon the famous US's lobster roll fast-food chain store, Luke's Lobster. We were lucky that we did not have to queue up for 30 mins to try this. The lobsters are very fresh with a taste of sweetness, yet I don't really like the combination that the lobster itself was served cold and the bread is warm. Same goes to the shrimp roll.

We also managed to visit Café Kitsuné @ Omotesando. The Kitsuné brand has fingers in several pies - fashion, music, and even coffee. I love the interior decor which incorporates Japan touches like custom-made tatami and fusama sliding doors.

While most of us have tried the traditional Tonkotsu (heavy pork broth based ramen), I was recommended by a friend to try Afuri @ Ebisu. I highly recommend their Yuzu Shoyu Ramen. The yuzu is light and refreshing while not having too much oiliness as compared to the pork broth. Besides the regular variants, I also tried their tsukemen, which I think their Chashu could be done better.

Never end the night without good drinks. With a staggering 200 bars and eateries crammed into a maze of six narrow streets, Shinjuku's Golden Gai district is one of the more rewarding drinking destinations in central Tokyo. If you are feeling adventurous. Most of the bars here are relatively small, hence some only welcome regular customers. But if you see a price list or anything in English, then you are safe and it was amazing how quickly the language barrier disappears after a glass or two. Despite of the uniqueness establishment of each bars, drinking here might be quite expensive as most of them have a cover charge.

We also visited a hidden bar, Martha @ Ebisu. One of the hipster music bars that offer cool old-school tunes and excellent cocktails and Japanese whisky. However, they do not allow us to take photos. We also realized they do not like us to come in big group as speaking from experience they are either not welcome visitors that do not speak their language or they are worried they would not be able to provide us the best service.

My daily life has changed beautifully ever since Panasonic came into my life. Aiming to create beauty in every aspects of women life, Panasonic has been continuously helping women to make beautiful happen a lot easier with their beauty tools and equipments. This round, 3 new Panasonic products were being introduced through hands-on demonstration (which I will further explain in the later article).

The first product was Micro Foaming Cleansing DeviseEH-SC50. We were asked to remove make up using the warn make up removal head together with Bio-essence makeup remover, but of course if you have you own makeup remover at home it is applicable as well.

Still using the same micro foaming cleansing devise, its extremely fine and high density micro-foam and soft brush functions effectively to remove dirt and oil. First, add a bean-sized of facial cleanser of any types (gel, cream or liquid) into the pump followed by a cap-sized of water as shown in the picture below. After that, select the "wash" button and the devise will generate micro-sized creamy foam to clean gently but deeply inside the pores.
As EH-SC50 is waterproof, you can easily clean the devise with water by removing the brush head.

The second facial product that being introduced was Ionic Cleansing and Toning Devise, EH-ST50. This devise uses ionic power to allow moisturizing ingredients to deeply penetrate into the skin. As demonstrated, we used cotton pad filled with toner and attached it together with the device. While using this, 'cleanse' mode was selected. Next, select 'moisturize' mode and apply moisturizer separately onto your face followed by its warm rhythmic massage. The ionic flow from '+' to '-' pole causes ions to move and creates water flow which infuses the hydrating ingredients deep into the epidermis.

Lastly, the Styling Brush Ion, EH-HT40. This brush is so easy to use and Yoshi san already tested it on my hair before the launch. And finally I got to try it during the launch and it really helps to create natural curls. However, the tips not to get your hair stuck is to do it with one direction. Let's say you are curl your hair inwards, keep it the same direction. With 2 temperature settings, this brush can be adjusted accordingly to the desired type and style. Besides that, it is also safe to hold the brush while styling your hair as its temperature is designed to a lower level.

A lot of people asked me what type of blogger I am? I always told them I'm a lifestyle blogger who focus on fashion, beauty, food and travel. But I gotta admit I haven't been contributing a lot of beauty tips lately. Therefore, today I'm sharing my 15-minutes everyday make up look using all 3CE products.

3CE is one of most trendsetting Korean beauty brands. I have always been their fan (especially on their lipsticks and tints) way before Sephora carry the brand. Now with its accessibility, I actually get to try and find out the rest of the products are equally great as well.

The first step of course is to apply a base/foundation either using Glossing Waterful Foundation or Back to Baby BB Cream. I personally love Glossing Waterful Foundation because of its hydrating formula. The high water content formula is so easy to apply that it does not require any blending. Both Glossing Waterful Foundation and Back to Baby offers sheer coverage which it is meant to be. They are formulated to even out your skin complexion and cover small imperfections. I personally prefer the minimum bare-face dewy look, therefore these two products are now my match made in heaven.

Apply a fine eye liner and blend the eye crayon over your eye lids (using 3CE products as well, unfortunately I missed out featuring them in my flatlay picture). It then follows by applying 3CE 'I'm Good' Mascara. This is one of the most long-lasting waterproof mascara I have ever used. I guarantee you this one doesn't give you a smudge even you are out the whole day.

Lastly, give your cheek a radiant touch with either Creamy Cheek Stick or Duo Colour Face Blush. I personally love the Duo Colour Face Blush because of its matte finishing. It is also highly pigmented, which means easy application as the colour turns out is the same like what you see. Hence, you will not get the bold streak while applying on your cheeks. I also like the two colours combination that you can achieve 3 different shades in just one blush. For the Creamy Cheek Stick, I would recommend to the girls who are always on-the-go as this product is so convenient you can just dap on your cheeks to create a long-lasting flush.

Left side of my face using Duo Colour Face Blush.
Right side of my face using Creamy Cheek Stick.

15 mins and you are done. Of course, you can add on with lipstick but to me that's optional. If you love 3CE products like I do, you can purchase them at any Sephora stores as well as their online platform.
